I contacted Antiquity Estate Sales in January and Stephanie (the owner) met with me within 48 hours. I showed her the house and she went over the details of the contract with me. Everything was straight forward and we picked a date for the sale. Stephanie came with her team to set up the entire sale and everything looked awesome! Things were displayed with taste and the sale was a great success. I would highly recommend Antiquity Estate Sales and Liquidation, Stephanie and her team for their professionalism, their knowledge about antiques, art, furniture, jewelry etc., and most of all their kindness. Catherine Bourdais
My cousin Joan Lawton recently passed away at age 81. She lived a very full and interesting life with a number of activities and hobbies that resulted in a lot of beautiful items and furniture in her house. She was the one of the first hostesses at the Magic Castle in Hollywood when she was 21 years old and remained a fixture there throughout her entire adult life. She was on their Board of Directors, and many other Castle committees. She booked magicians into events and was on several Foundation Boards as well. She was also an avid theater goer and supporter her entire life.
Her house sold very fast and I had to clear it out very, very fast. All this occurred during the mist of the Covid-19 Pandemic so we could not have an Estate sale at the house because no company was having them at the time. Or so I thought… On the last day before Escrow closed I had movers come and take everything left in the house and store it at a warehouse for $500/month until we could have an Estate sale. That night Stephanie’s name popped into my head. I had gone to many estate sales in the past to find interesting vintage jewelry and and met Stephanie. We became friendly and at some point she went out on her own having her own estate sales. We lost track of each other but she was still in my memories. I remembered that the word “Antiquities” was in the name of her company and FOUND her!! She had an empty apartment and was open to having an estate sale there with my cousin’s stuff. This happened so fast and we had the sale just a week later. Stephanie and her staff met the movers, at the apartment location and unpacked and organized everything in record time. She advertised the sale using my cousin’s name and the Magic Castle and had a VERY successful sale with people calling from the Magic Castle and as far away as from the state of Virginia!
I couldn’t have done this at all without the incredible help Stephanie provided. She made it all so easy for me and made a good deal of money for my cousin’s trust as well. Also I do not have to pay $500/month for the storage of all the stuff anymore. I can’t thank her enough for her helpfulness, knowledge and professionalism, and happy, positive, attitude throughout the whole process. I would recommend her and her team to everyone and anyone.
